Les Ateliers

Independent French makers. Each has its own way of working, and we keep it that way.

Atlantis Lab

Three worlds, one loudspeaker.

Founded in 1998 by Éric Buy, Atlantis Lab spent twenty years refining the hi‑fi loudspeaker. In 2017 it began working with professional sound engineers — mixers, live sound specialists and teachers from French sound schools.

Since then the aim has been to unite three worlds that seem to pull in opposite directions: the neutrality and precision of the mixing studio, the efficiency and dynamics of live sound, and the fine voicing and cabinetmaking of high‑end hi‑fi.

3D Lab Nano network player

3D Lab

A true audio source, not a disguised computer.

Many network players are PCs dressed up as audio devices, and the noise they carry reaches the music. From Mouans‑Sartoux in the south of France, 3D Lab builds its NANO range the other way round: nothing inside that can alter the signal.

Clocking, power supplies and volume control are developed in‑house around its own FPGA designs, for digital sources that are quiet, precise and musical.

Our story

France's small audio workshops deserve to be heard.

Hexagonal Sound started from that conviction. We choose each atelier for its craft, its thinking and its refusal to cut corners — then look for distributors who hold the same standard.

We handle the introduction and the follow‑up between maker and distributor, market by market.

“Authentic passion creates authentic work. What we introduce are the craftsmen who give it everything.”

Distribution enquiries.

If you distribute high‑end audio and one of our makers fits your market, we would like to hear from you.
